Steve and I didn't know each other personally. We had a connection through his incredibly valued and tenacious work over at GB64.com.
Steve's site played no small part in uniting individuals across the globe with a love of retro gaming, fostering relationships and building communities which will endure beyond his passing.
For all those lucky enough to know him personally, I envy you. More importantly, I send my love and condolences to his family and friends - those people he meant the most to.
It's a sad time, of course, but I hope in mourning him everyone is also able to smile and remember him for his contributions to all our lives.
